Summary draft 2 (Deeptrekker with Juergen)

Deeptrekker promotes the usage of underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), DTG3 (Deep Trekker, 2022). Among its functions, it is pointed out that the robot has the capability to conduct intensive observation under rough conditions and send live feedback to the user. In terms of external features, the robot is reportedly coupled with an enhanced 4K camera, a positioning system, a waterproof controller as well as a precision thruster. The enhanced 4k camera allows users to view under low light conditions and provides enhanced clarity with its underwater correction. Like a GPS system, the Ultra-short Baseline (USBL) position system is software where it calculates the positioning of the ROV. Consisting of a transducer on the surface of the water and a transponder on the ROV, it allows accuracy of 20cm from itself. As mentioned on the webpage, the precision thruster on the machine enables the robot to maneuver vertically with much stability. Accompanied with a rotating camera, the DTG3 can provide 270 degrees view vertically upwards and downwards of an infrastructure. One important feature of DTG3 itself is it's small size which allows the ROV to inspect tight spaces. I think that the ROV is an all-rounded piece of equipment that is applicable to use in multiple rigorous conditions. I believe that the DTG3 ROV will prove to be more efficient than manual inspection with its ability to maneuver in small spaces equipped with the 4k camera aided by its positioning system.
